Queen Street West BIA

Toronto, Ontario

2024-2025

Tate Economics Research

Re:Public Urbanism and Tate Economic Research Inc. collaborated to develop a customized dashboard for the Queen Street West Business Improvement Area (QWBIA) in Downtown Toronto. The dashboard provided the BIA with a dynamic, data-driven tool to support decision-making and communication.

The platform brings together spatial, economic, and retail data through interactive maps, charts, and metrics, allowing users to easily explore patterns and monitor changes across the area. Designed to support the implementation of the BIA’s Retail Strategy prepared by Tate Economic Research Inc., the dashboard helps track retail trends, business turnover, and other key indicators amidst an evolving commercial environment and the ongoing construction of the Ontario Line.

The Queen Street West Dashboard strengthens the BIA’s ability to monitor progress, share insights with members and partners, and make informed decisions that respond to the neighbourhood’s changing conditions.
