Calabogie Secondary Plan Public Visioning Session

Our team hosted a public visioning session for the Calabogie Village Secondary Plan in Greater Madawaska. This marks an important milestone in the Secondary Plan process, helping to shape a shared community vision that will inform the long-term direction for Calabogie Village.

Through interactive activities such as sticker voting, collaborative mapping, and visioning exercises, residents shared thoughtful ideas about what they would like to see in Calabogie’s future.

Participants shared a strong interest in:
• A vibrant, walkable village core
• Waterfront and public gathering spaces
• Trails, parks, and connections to nature
• Small-scale shops, cafés, and year-round activity
• Housing options for all ages and stages of life
• Preserving Calabogie’s unique character while planning for future growth

The valuable feedback gathered will directly inform the development of the Draft Secondary Plan, helping to translate community priorities into a comprehensive vision and planning framework for Calabogie’s future.
