Brampton Climate Change Action Plan

Brampton’s Climate Change Adaptation Plan (CCAP) is a comprehensive document that gives the City a unified approach to evaluate, guide, and integrate Brampton’s diverse policies, plans, programs, and services to become more resilient to the effects of the changing climate. It examines current initiatives and programs, their strengths and weaknesses, other opportunities and constraints, and recommends science-based solutions to increase the City’s resilience to climate change impacts. The CCAP enables the City to understand the actions, plans, and policies being undertaken by adjacent area municipalities, and the impact of their climate action on the City and vice versa.
